Terms of Service

Last updated:

These Terms govern your use of Taggit, operated by KLM Design & Prints Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Taggit is a SaaS platform for asset tracking and compliance management, accessible via web dashboard and iOS app. We provide it on a subscription basis as set out in your chosen plan.

2. Your account

3. Subscription & payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT, which is added at checkout where applicable. Plans renew automatically until cancelled.

4. Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No payment is required to start. At the end of the trial, your subscription begins on the plan you select. You may cancel during the trial with no charge.

5. Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we do not refund partial months. Annual plans cancelled mid-term are not refunded but remain active until expiry.

6. Acceptable use

You must not: (a) misuse or attempt to disrupt the service; (b) reverse-engineer the platform; (c) use Taggit to store unlawful content; (d) resell or share access outside your organisation without our written consent.

7. Your data & IP

You retain ownership of all asset data, certificates and records you upload. We hold a limited licence to process this data only to provide the service. We do not sell, share or use your data for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy.

8. Our IP

Taggit's software, branding, design and documentation are owned by KLM Design & Prints Ltd and protected by copyright and trade mark law. These Terms grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service — nothing more.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on standard plans. Enterprise plans include a written SLA. We may schedule maintenance windows, which we will communicate in advance where possible.

10. Compliance disclaimer

Taggit is a record-keeping and scheduling tool. It does not perform inspections, certifications or testing. Responsibility for ensuring statutory compliance (PAT, LOLER, PUWER, HSE requirements etc.) rests with the user. We make no warranty that use of Taggit alone satisfies any legal obligation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or loss-of-profits damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence).

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms with notice. On termination, you can export your data for up to 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify account holders by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
